I think it's a winning percentage defenition reality of a real number one driver. The Silver Fox has the best percentage in the category of the 240 races atleast. The win improved the teacher avarge King, but Pearson was a part-timer. Nobody will be able to compete both as Petty, due to the fact that they do not run many more races. Pearson also won in 66.68, and only 69 years, ran full time. The king was there. Pearson is for me the best of all time. Pearson has started 574 races. Thats all starts 9 time. Won 105 thats # 2 all time savings. Richard Petty # 1 all time began with 1184 and No. 1 in victories with 200. They are very close in percentage. Both were great. Who gets put on top?
Pearson is as good or better than Petty. They finished 1-2 68 times against each other. Peason has won 36 of those races. As is the best winning percentage. Belonging to Glenn "Fireball" Roberts. His winning percentage of 22% is the highest of all the drivers championship in NASCAR history.
